About Us

Miss Maya started from a simple belief: that taking care of yourself should feel like coming home — not to a clinic, not to another to-do list, but to a quiet space where you can simply be.

That belief didn't come from a business book. It came from my grandfather.

He was a rural school principal, a self‑taught student of traditional Chinese medicine, and the most quietly dedicated person I've ever known. I watched him help people who came from far away — not with promises, but with patience, his old Gua Sha tool, and a gentle attention that never wavered.

He taught me three things that became the foundation of Miss Maya:

Knowledge can become a hobby. A hobby can become a calling. And a calling can become a way to help others.

He also taught me that real care doesn't shout. It shows up — day after day, stroke after stroke. It is consistent, it is responsible, and it is honest.

That is what I try to bring to every Gua Sha tool I select, every course I create, and every message I answer.

No complicated theories. No false promises. Just gentle, real practices for real life — a few minutes to pause, to listen, to return to yourself.

Thank you for being here.

With warmth,
Maya
